THAT WON THE LEFT (BUT NOT BY U.S.)
Often we ask ourselves why Italy should have as the head of the Berlusconi government.
More often the question arises, since the character in question, how is it that he is still ruling. This question, among the many possible answers, there is a very simple answer: because there is no left.
The resulting demand, therefore, is: why is not the left? And what should be talking about a force for progressive politics "come to power" and administer according to their own ideas?
certainly not what made the so-called left in Italy. That is practically nothing.
I was very surprised to know that the last lectures in Germany (stuff two days ago), the Linke, or the political strength of the German extreme left (or type Rifondazione Italian Communists, for instance) took to nationally, 20% and in some Lander (or around our regions) also 26%.
In Japan, whose the political situation (except for the economy) is very similar to ours (with a communist party around 3%), the Democratic Party (founded 10 years ago about a leaked Conservative Party) has against the opposing party winning an absolute majority.
The Conservative Party ruled continuously for 54 years!
In America, the crisis brought down Bush (who would have lost anyway), giving an absolute majority to Obama, who certainly will not be a left-wing extremist, but at least it is a liberal environmentalist who is even trying to change the American health care .
not that, by chance, it would be in good taste to go and read the program and see how successful this left applies?
So, to see how that is ...
